Though some of the code is still based on Internet Explorer yet Microsoft Edge features numerous improvements, both visual and underhood. It includes new rendering engine, better html5 support, cortana support, download manager etc. Despite all this, users are complaining a lot of Edge. There always have been minor setbacks, that are keeping users away from it. Thanks to the Insider Preview Program, Microsoft can now address the potential issues of its products.

Coming to the minor setbacks, of all I would like to point out the one that is haunting me the most i. Even Google Chrome seems do to the same. Starting from Windows 10 build , you can set Microsoft Edge to ask permission every time it wants to download a thing.

This way people can only see your documents, pictures but cannot download it. I believe THEOplayer already provides this sort of solution as a paid service, but I'm not so sure about it.
